We at An "A" Awaits are under the direction of a skilled and enthusiastic team of educators with extensive backgrounds in science education, instructional coaching, and professional development. Our founder, Tamu Crisden (pronounce), has more than two decades of practical experience as a science educator, having served as an instructional leader, mentor, online university science faculty member, and, most recently, a STEM teacher preparation faculty member. As an education specialist and doctoral student in Educational Technology and Online Learning, our founder is well-versed in the incorporation of inquiry-based learning and digital tools in science classrooms.
Our team also includes a group of seasoned and early career educators and instructional coaches who have collectively mentored numerous aspiring STEM educators. Through their expertise in instructional coaching, they have supported teachers in refining their pedagogical skills and seamlessly integrating technology into their lesson plans. With a deep understanding of inquiry-based learning, our experts can guide science teachers to foster critical thinking and problem-solving abilities among their students, preparing them for success in the rapidly evolving world.
